About Kamni Lodhi

Kamni lives with her parents and two brothers, Nikhil and Ghanshyam, in a small mud hut. They live in a very poor village located in the jungles of northern India. Her mother is a homemaker and her father is a low wage laborer. Kamni enjoys helping her mother around the house. She helps collect firewood and cow pies for her mom to use as fuel to cook on. She also handwashes the dishes. She walks with her mom to the village well as they gather jugs of water for their days use for cooking and cleaning.

Kamni dreams of being a dancer someday; she loves to sing and dance around the yard near their home. One of her favorite pastimes is learning how to play badminton with her friends. Kamni's family survives on a very modest diet of dal (lentils) and white rice, some vegetables, and Indian flatbread.

Please pray for Kamni, her family, and her village; they are generations old Hindus and we are praying this entire village will come to know the Lord. Your sponsorship provides Kamni a good education, school supplies, a nourishing lunch, shoes, and other basic necessities. Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity and a Future to Kamni!
