About Kalu Singh

Kalu Singh lives with his parents and three brothers in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle and in a mountainous area where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 100 meters from their home.
Kalu helps with gardening, fetching water, and doing other household chores. His father is a laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Kalu wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading, painting and drawing and playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Kalu; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Kalu needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
