About Kajal Dhobi
Kajal lives with her parents and four brothers in a small brick and mud house in a remote village located in the jungle of Northern India. The climate in this area is hot and humid and also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, and they don’t have access to electricity. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their house.
Both of her parents are unskilled laborers, which means they get arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. Since both of her parents work outside the home, Kajal helps with household chores, fetching water from the well, cooking meals, tending livestock, and taking care of her younger siblings. Kajal wants to become a teacher one day, and we want to help her get the education she will need to be able to achieve that goal! Kajal enjoys drawing and making crafts. She likes simple vegetarian dishes and her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti.
Please pray for Kajal; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Kajal needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
