Jyoti comes from a small village in Northern India. Her parents are first-generation Christians. After giving their lives to the Lord, Jyoti’s parents desired to share the gospel with others in their community. Through Mid India, her father was able to take Bible and ministry courses and receive his pastoral certification. Now, Jyoti’s parents serve as the leaders of their small village congregation.
Several years ago, Jyoti had the opportunity to move to Mid India’s Mercy Home. She has thrived during her time at the Mercy Home, growing in spiritual maturity and intellectual knowledge. Now, Jyoti longs to continue her education by attending nursing college. Her desire is to use her medical education to start a health clinic in a small town that has no access to healthcare. However, Jyoti’s parents receive no consistent income for their ministry service and are unable to support their daughter’s schooling.
