About Jyoti Bhagora
Jyoti lives with her parents and her younger sister Puja in a small mud hut in a remote village in West India. This village is located in a valley where the climate is hot and humid with occasional drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They do not have electricity. The water well the family uses is about 1,000 feet from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
Her father is a farmer. Her mother is a homemaker and Jyoti helps her with household chores. Jyoti dreams of becoming a nurse one day. She enjoys playing outdoors with other children along with playing card games. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Please pray for Jyoti; she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Jyoti needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Jyoti!
