About Jyoti Ahirwal

NOTE: Jyoti Ahirwal was transferred to MH from Asha Project (AH0522-GG Jyoti Omkar) in May of 2017. However, she moved back home in August 2017.

Jyoti Ahirwal came to Mercy Home from a village in Central India where she lived with her parents and two brothers. Her parents are first-generation Christians. They are both laborers and do not have an education. They realize the value of education and how it provides a better life and a more prosperous future. They are trying to give their children a good education, but the closest school is three kilometers away which made it difficult to reach during monsoon seasons, besides, that school is not very good. It is also becoming financially taxing to provide education for three children. Mercy Home is Jyoti's opportunity to grow spiritually and academically. Jyoti is happy to be part of the Mercy Home family.

Jyoti is happy to be part of the Mercy Home family! She enjoys singing and studying. Her favorite subjects are Hindi and English. She wants to become a teacher one day. She also likes to play badminton and carom. Her favorite foods are rice, dal, vegetables, chicken, mutton, and eggs; seems like she just loves all kinds of food!

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Jyoti!
