About Jiya Masih
Jiya Masih lives with her parents and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a small village in Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located on a plain. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals.
Jiya comes from a Christian family; they attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Her father is a laborer, and her mother is a homemaker. Jiya helps her mom with household chores. Jiya wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti. Jiya needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Jiya!
