About Jessica Dayal
Jessica lives with her parents and one brother in a simple brick and mud house in a town located on the plains of Central India. The climate in this town is hot and experiences both monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood and when they can afford, propane as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have a water well not too far from their home. Each day they gather all of their jugs and walk to the well to fetch water. This is their only source of water for all cooking, cleaning, and bathing.
Jessica helps her mom with household chores. Her father is a low wage laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Jessica wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys reading and singing, along with playing carom (an Indian game). Her favorite foods are dal, rice, vegetables, chicken, chapatti and mutton.
Jessica comes from a Christian family and they attend church each Sunday. They read their Bible daily and pray together as a family. Jessica needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as shoes and school lunches.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity and a Future to Jessica!
