About Jaykishan Khairwar
Jaykishan Khairwar lives with his parents, one brother, and three sisters in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The village is located in the jungle where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Jaykishan helps with fetching water. His father is a laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Jaykishan wants to become a lawyer one day. He enjoys reading and playing kho-kho (an Indian game). His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti.
Although Jaykishan and his family are still Hindu, they are attending church each Sunday and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Jaykishan and his family. Jaykishan needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
