About Jashan Singh
Jashan Singh lives with his parents, two brothers and one sister in a mud hut in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located in the plains. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 100 meters from their home.
Jashan helps with fetching water and doing household chores. His father is a laborer while his mother is a homemaker. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer, cricket and badminton. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice and chicken
Jashan comes from a Christian family. They attend church every Sunday, read the Bible and pray together every day. Jashan needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
