About Jamna Kumari
Jamna lives with her parents in a mud hut in a small village in West India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located in a mountainous area. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife.
Jamna is in elementary school and would really like to become a computer operator. Her favorite color is red and she really enjoys painting. She has an artistic talent. Like many children, her favorite food is rice and lentils, a staple throughout India.
