About Ipshita Khan
Ipshita is a sweet, loving girl. Because she is mentally challenged, she is unable to speak properly and struggles to communicate verbally. However, she enjoys expressing herself through dancing and singing praise and worship songs. Each weekday, Ipshita travels to Oasis where she learns to draw, practices the alphabet, and tries to read and write. She loves playing with her Oasis friends.
Before enrolling in the Oasis of Love School, Ipshita would spend her days sitting at home. Her father works a low-wage job as a manual laborer while her mother takes care of the home. Ipshita has an older brother who also lives with her family. Ipshita is happy to be a part of the Oasis family where she feels loved and accepted.
