About Harish Kumar Badera
Harish is from a small, remote village in Western India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. He lives with his parents, brother, and his older sister Kavita in a small mud hut. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals, as they cannot afford propane and don’t have access to electricity. The water well the family uses is over half a mile from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
His father is an unskilled laborer, he gets arduous jobs at construction sites or in agricultural fields. His mother is a homemaker and Harish helps her with gardening, cooking meals, and household chores. Harish wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys reading, singing and dancing, along with playing kho-kho. He is a vegetarian and his favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice. Please pray for Harish; he comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Harish needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Harish!
