About Gopi Kumari
Gopi lives lives in a small village in West India. The climate in this village is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located in a mountainous area. Gopi has two sisters and one brother. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a housewife, which is very common in her village. They live in a small mud and bamboo hut.
Gopi loves dancing and her favorite color is orange. Her favorite food is rice and lentils, which is a staple throughout India. She is in elementary school and would like to be a teacher when she grows up.
