About Golu Gyani
Golu lives in the small village of Gandhigram. 500 people live in this village. It's located on top of bluffs overlooking a river. His father is a farmer and his mother is a housewife. He has two brothers and one sister. They live in a mud house.
After school Golu helps his father farm the fields and he also helps his mother by taking care of his younger siblings. He likes playing cricket with his friends from the village. Rice, dal (lentils), and roti (flat bread) are his favorite foods. He wants to be a teacher when he grows up.
