About Ginder Singh
Ginder Singh lives with his parents, grandparents and one brother in a brick and mud hut in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The village is located in the plains. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 100 meters from their home.
Ginder helps with fetching water and household chores. His father and mother are both laborers. Ginder wants to become an army officer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and mutton.
Ginder comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, attend a Bible study and pray together daily. Ginder needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
