About Dolli Harijan

Dolli Harijan lives with her parents, brother Atul, and three sisters, Mahi, Priyanka, and Sweta, in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village in Central India. The climate in this jungle village is hot because of the drought seasons this area experiences. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals when they can, but often due to the high cost of propane, they must use wood that they collect from the jungle. The water well the family uses is near their home.

Dolli enjoys helping with household chores and babysitting her siblings. Her parents are unskilled low-wage laborers; they work hard to provide for their big family. Understanding the value of education, Dolli loves going to school and dreams of becoming a teacher one day. In her spare time, she enjoys drawing and playing outdoors with her siblings and friends. Her favorite food is chole (garbanzo beans).

Please pray for Dolli and her family as they are a Hindu family with no believers. Dolli needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, shoes, school bag, and other needs.

Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Dolli!
