About Devraj Singh
Devraj Singh lives with his parents and his sister in a simple brick and mud house in a town on the plains of Central India. The climate in this town is hot and experiences seasons of both monsoons and droughts. The family uses propane when they can afford to, as fuel to cook their meals, but due to the cost of propane, they must use wood most of the time. The water well the family uses is about 100 meters from their home. Every day they gather their pots and jugs and walk to the well to fetch the water. This is the only source of water for all of their cooking, cleaning, and bathing.
Devraj helps with household chores. His father is a driver while his mother is a homemaker. Devraj wants to become a teacher one day. He loves to read. He also enjoys playing carom and cricket with his friends. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti (and Indian bread).
Please pray for Devraj as he comes from a Hindu family with no known believers. Devraj needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as school lunches and shoes.
