About David Bhuriya
David came from a very remote jungle village in Central India. David has two younger brothers. David’s parents came to faith in Christ 20 years ago. They became very dedicated Christians. David's father openly proclaimed God’s Word everywhere he went and when he had to go to a nearby state to work in a factory as a laborer, he continued to share the Good News. On weekends he lead a small house church for his fellow tribal brothers in his small slum home. Two years ago the Hindu extremist killed him because of his Christian faith and his work. The family is still shaken by this tragedy. David's mom with her children moved in with their late father’s sister and her husband who is also a tribal preacher in the Jungle area. His son and daughter are at the Mercy Home and he suggested that the Mercy Home for Boys would be the best place for his nephew David.
David was gladly welcomed by his new Mercy Home family. Thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity for David! You are giving him hope, dignity, and a future. His life will be forever changed because of you – thank you!!
