About Chandni Gound

Chandni lives with her parents, one brother, and two sisters in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 1,000 meters from their home which means gathering water each day is laborious and time-consuming.
Both of her parents are low-wage laborers. Chandni helps them with household chores and fetching water from the well. Chandni wants to become a nurse one day. She loves to read and sing and enjoys playing badminton and kho-kho (an Indian sport). Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti.
Please pray for Chandni and her family. Although they are still Hindu, they attend Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Chandni needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
