About Chandan Yadav
Chandan Yadav has Graduated High School in 2019.
THANK YOU, SPONSORS!!!
Chandan Yadav lives with his parents, one brother and one sister in a brick and mud house in a small village in Central India. The climate in this village is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The village is located in the jungle. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meal. In addition, they make "cow pies", compliments of their cow, which makes excellent cooking fuel. The water well the family uses is 50 meters from their home. They gather their pots and jugs daily to carry the water from the well to their small home. This is the only water available for all their cooking, cleaning, and bathing.
Chandan helps with gardening and fetching the water. His father is a low wage laborer while his mother is a homemaker. Chandan dreams of becoming a doctor one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer and carom (an Indian game) with his friends. His favorite foods are rice, chicken, and chapatti (and Indian bread).
Although they are still Hindu, they are attending church each Sunday, attending a weekly Bible study, and the family is praying together daily. Please pray for Chandan and his family as they are exploring Christianity. Chandan needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as school lunches and shoes.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity and a Future to Chandan!
