About Bhupat Thakur
Bhupat lives with his parents, four brothers and one sister in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They do not have electricity. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Bhupat helps his parents by carrying water from the well and tending livestock. His father is a low-wage laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Bhupat wants to become a doctor one day. He enjoys reading and drawing along with playing kho-kho (an Indian game). His favorite food is dal (lentils).
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and exploring Christianity. Please pray for Bhupat and his family. Bhupat needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
