About Bhagwati Singh
Bhagwati has graduated from High School and the Mercy Home program in 2021 where she was since 2015. She is extremely grateful to her sponsors for supporting her through her years in the Mercy Home which has been a safe haven for her! Bhagwati is so excited that she has been accepted into College for the three-year Teaching program. She would be the very first one in her family to attend college!
Bhagwati's family lives in a remote village in Central India, they are first-generation Christians. Her father owns a small piece of agricultural land and farms on it together with his two sons. Farming does not bring much income and often there is barely enough to provide for the basic needs of his family. They face all the hardships of village life in remote India.
Bhagwati says, "I dream of being a teacher one day but because my father’s financial condition is not good, he is not able to send me for college studies. I humbly ask if it is possible, that you kindly help me in my college studies. You have been so loving and gracious and I will be grateful to you forever!! I want to become a teacher and teach the little village children."
