About Ashish Meena
Ashish lives with his parents, brother Arpan, and two sisters, Minakshi and Sakshi, in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village in the mountains of Western India. This area experiences intense heat and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. They are blessed to have the water well not too far from their house.
His father is a shopkeeper. His mother is a homemaker and Ashish helps his mom with household chores. Ashish dreams of becoming an engineer one day. He loves when someone reads to him and he looks forward to learning how to read in school. Ashish enjoys dancing and playing with toys. Ashish is eager to learn how to play cricket. His favorite foods are dal and rice.
Ashish comes from a Christian family; they attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, and pray together daily. Ashish needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
