About Ashish Kumar
Now MB0061-UD
Ashish lives in a remote village in Western India. This area is in a valley that experiences intense heat and drought seasons. Ashish lives with his parents and sister Mariyam Dhaloviya in a small brick and concrete house. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals as they cannot afford propane. The water well the family uses is about 700 feet from their home, which makes getting water each day laborious and time-consuming.
His father is a village preacher, he often travels to the surrounding communities to visit believers and to evangelize. His mother is a homemaker, Ashish helps her with gardening, tending livestock, and household chores. Ashish wants to become a teacher one day and we want to help give him the education he will need to achieve that goal! He loves to read, draw and sing. He enjoys playing soccer, cricket, and carom. His favorite foods are chicken and chapatti. Ashish comes from a very dedicated Christian family, besides the Sunday services they have a daily Bible reading time and family prayer. Ashish needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
Thank you for helping provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Ashish!
