About Ashish Gound
Ashish lives with his parents, one brother, and one sister in a small mud-hut in a remote village in Central India. This area is in a jungle in the mountains where it rains frequently but also experiences seasons of drought usually during hot summer months. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The closest water well is about one kilometer from their home which makes gathering water for all their daily needs very laborious.
Ashish helps with household chores. Both of his parents are low-wage laborers. Ashish wants to become a lawyer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal, rice, and chapatti.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Ashish and his family. Ashish needs your help and support to provide for his school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
