About Ashish Bharti

Ashish Bharti lives with his parents, one brother, and two sisters in a brick and mud house in a town in Central India. The town is located in the plains where the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Ashish helps with babysitting his siblings. His father, although visually impaired, serves the Lord by preaching in one of the Missions's “house churches” about 25 kilometers from his home. His mother is a homemaker. Ashish wants to become a preacher one day. He enjoys playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, and chicken.
Ashish comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, and pray together daily. Ashish needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
