About Ashima Masih
Ashima Masih lives with her parents and one brother in a brick and concrete house in a town in Central India. The town is located in a valley where the climate is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Ashima helps with the gardening and household chores. Ashima wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys singing and playing with other children. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, chicken, and mutton.
Ashima comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Ashima needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
