Aradhana is the eldest daughter of a village Pastor. She has a younger brother and a younger sister. In the village, the extremist Hindu group threatened her parents all the time and created problems and disruptions during the fellowship meetings. Aradhana's parents decided to leave the girls at Mercy Home where they would get security, love, and spiritual guidance along with a good academic education.
Aradhana's favorite story of the Bible is the story of Joseph. Her favorite food is plain rice, dal (split pea soup), and vegetables. She loves winter, roses, and mangos. Her favorite animal is the rabbit; she says they look so soft and cute. She loves dancing, singing, and hopes to become a medical doctor. She is a fun loving girl and mimics her friends and teachers, but she is serious about her studies and knows that it is a golden opportunity to be a part of Mercy Home.
