About Aradhana Ahirwar
Note: 8/30/2023 – Failed 12th Grade in 2 attempts. She will pursue her own education.
Aradhana joined the Mercy Home in the summer of 2015. Her parents are first-generation believers and are on fire for the Lord. They work as laborers and are from a low caste. The village where the family lives has a strong belief in the caste system and, because they still live in that village, they face persecution and social shunning.
Aradhana's family is poor and access to good schools is difficult from the village. Her father wants her to grow up learning about Christ and His teachings. He is so thankful that Aradhana was accepted to Mercy Home as this will give her a chance to live a dignified, independent life.
Aradhana is in the fifth grade now. She is so happy to have the opportunity to live in the safe and godly environment of Mercy Home! Her favorite color is pink. She enjoys eating green mangoes with salt. Her favorite sport is badminton. Aradhana wants to become a police officer.
