About Anoop Baiga

Anoop Baiga lives with his parents, two brothers, and one sister in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The village is located near a river where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Anoop helps with fetching water. His father is a laborer and his mother is a homemaker. Anoop wants to become a teacher one day. He enjoys dancing and playing cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils) and rice.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity. Please pray for Anoop and his family. Anoop needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
