About Anoo Raikwar
Anoo Raikwar lives with her parents and one brother in a simple brick and mud house in a town on the plains of Central India. The climate in this town is hot with periods of monsoon storms as well as times of drought. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is about 500 meters from their home. The family must gather their pots and jugs each day and walk to the well to gather water. This is the only source of water they have for all of their cooking, cleaning, and bathing.
Anoo helps with cooking meals and household chores. Her father is a gardener while her mother is a homemaker. Anoo wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing and singing along with playing badminton with her friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and chapatti (an Indian bread).
Please pray for Anoo as she comes from a Hindu family with no known Christian believers. Anoo needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, school uniform, books, school bag, and other needs such as shoes and school lunches.
