About Ankita Kachi
Ankita comes from a remote village. Her mother died when she was very young and soon after her father abandoned her, so her grandparents were taking care of her until her grandmother also passed away. In sixth grade, Ankita came to live at the Mercy Home as it was no longer safe to be alone at home while her grandfather worked in the fields. In 2021 Ankita has graduated from High School and the Mercy Home program. She is extremely grateful to her sponsors for supporting her through her years in the Mercy Home which has been a safe haven for her! She always wanted to become a nurse. Ankita is so excited that she has been accepted into Nursing College for the four-year Registered Nurse (RN) program.
Ankita says, "I dream of being a nurse but my grandfather is unable to support me for my college studies, his earning is very little. Praise God you have helped me in my studies and I am so thankful for that! If possible, I ask you to kindly help me become a nurse. I will always be honest and work hard with my studies and do my best and bring honor to God. God has been really good to me so far. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for supporting me so far!"
