About Anju Masih

NOTE: Anju has graduated High School in 2018 and is now in Nursing College.

Anju came to Mercy Home in 2008 and is now in the 10th grade. She was born and raised by good Christian parents who are first-generation Christians. Anju's father is a village pastor. He decided to go into full-time ministry to proclaim the Good News and their lives have been on a roller coaster ride of struggles. Because of this, the two sisters have been sent to Mercy Home while the only brother stays home with their parents. Anju wants to be a doctor or nurse and join the noble profession of medicine, serving hurting people.

Anju has learned many good things for life at Mercy Home. She enjoys her life here and loves the family atmosphere. Anju says, “Everyone here helps each other and together we learn to study better, cook, clean, play, sing, and dance.” Anju loves memorizing the Bible verses. She enjoys the daily devotionals and worship time with her Mercy Home family. Her favorite Bible story is the story of David and Goliath. She is a good prayer warrior at such a tender age. Anju loves the food given at Mercy Home. She likes noodles, rice, dal (split pea soup) and apples. Her favorite flower is a rose, and her favorite animals are goat and peacock.

Thank you for helping to provide Hope, Dignity and a Future to Anju!
