About Anjelena Yetas
June 2022 update: Anjelena's father died of Covid. Her mom's health is not good either. Anjelena made a decision to move back home to be with her mother.
Anjelena came to the Mercy Home from a remote village where she lived with her parents and one sister. They are a very poor Christian family. Unfortunately, her mother is sick and is unable to care for her girls. Anjelena and her sister took care of the cooking, cleaning, and all other household chores. Because of the mother's sickness, the family cannot afford the girl's education. Anjelena's mom wishes that at least one girl should have an education so she can help support the family in the future. She wants to know that even if she goes to be with the Lord, her family will be able to live with dignity, but that is impossible without education. So they made a decision of sending Anjelena to the Mercy Home while her sister would stay at home helping her mother.
Anjelena is so happy to become a part of the Mercy Home family. Understanding the value of a good education, Anjelena aspires to become a teacher. In her spare time, Anjelena enjoys dancing and playing field hockey with her new friends. Her favorite foods are simple vegetarian meals, like dal (lentils) and rice, because their family cannot afford meat. Please pray for Anjelena and her family!
Thank you for helping to provide Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Anjelena!
