About Anjana Dhuliya
Anjana lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a very poor remote village in Central India. Their house is a small one-room mud hut. Her father is a farmer and her mother a housewife. Anjana, although young, loves to help her momma with chores. She gathers wood that her mom uses to cook on, and helps out in the garden. She walks with her mom to the local village well to get water and looks forward to the day when she is big enough to help carry the jugs of water all by herself.
Anjana dreams of being a nurse someday to help the sick people of her village. She enjoys singing, dancing, and drawing. Anjana loves to play an Indian game called Kho-Kho with her friends. Anjana and her family live on a simple diet of dal (lentils), white rice, and chapati (flat Indian bread). On special occasions, they will kill a chicken and enjoy chicken curry.
Please pray for Anjana, her family, and her village; they are generations old Hindus and are prayer is that the entire village will come to know the Lord. Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity and a Future to Anjana!
