Anjali is a sweet and beautiful girl. She has two brothers and two sisters. Her father is a carpenter and her mother is a homemaker. Her parents are first-generation Christians. The family reads the Bible and prays together daily.
Anjali enjoys studying, reading, painting, drawing, and playing kabaddi; but her favorite pastime is cooking. Her favorite color is blue. She likes to eat simple meals of rice and dal (split pea soup).
Upon completing high school, Anjali wants to go to medical school and become a doctor to help sick people. This will bring great honor to her family because she will have the chance to be the first one in her entire clan to get a higher education. However, her parents cannot afford to further her education. Anjali is looking forward to the precious opportunity she will receive through the Mercy Home.
