About Anee William
Anee comes from a first-generation Christian family. Her parents live in a large city in Central India, where her father works inconsistent jobs as unskilled labor and her mother works as a housewife. Although they work hard to provide for Anee and her brother, their low social status within the Indian caste system prevents economic upward mobility. In addition, Anee's mother struggles with severe anemia, preventing her from working much of the time. As Christians, Anee's parents prayed that God would provide a better future for their children, one filled with hope and opportunity.
The answer to their prayers came through the Mercy Home. Now that Anee has come to live at the Mercy Home, she eats three hearty meals a day and attends a quality school. In the future, she would like to become a police officer so she can help kids in vulnerable positions. Most importantly, Anee is growing spiritually as she attends church weekly and participates in daily Bible Study. She is a sweet girl and an asset to the Mercy Home community. In her spare time, Anee enjoys painting, drawing, and playing volleyball with her new friends.
Thank you for providing Hope, Dignity, and a Future to Anee!
