About Alwina Masih
Alwina Masih lives with her parents in a mud hut in a small village in Central India. The village is located in a jungle where the climate is hot. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Alwina helps with household chores. Her father is a farmworker and her mother is a teacher. Alwina wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys singing, reading, and playing soccer. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, chicken, and mutton.
Alwina comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Alwina needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
