About Ajay Ahirwar
Ajay lives with his parents and his sister Chawarmati in a small mud hut in a remote village in Central India. The village is located in a mountainous area. The climate in this village is dry and experiences drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 300 feet from their home.
Both of his parents are laborers and Ajay helps them with fetching water and doing other household chores. Ajay wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys reading along with playing soccer and cricket. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetarian, chicken, chapatti, and fish.
Although they are still Hindu, they attend a Bible study and are exploring Christianity; please pray for Ajay and his family. Ajay needs your help and support to provide for school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
