About Aish Kaur
Aish lives with her parents, one brother, and one sister in a small brick and concrete house in a remote village located on the plains of Northern India. The climate in this village is hot and humid. This area also experiences monsoon and drought seasons. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals.
Aish helps her mother with cooking meals and household chores. Her father is an unskilled laborer, while her mother is a homemaker. Aish aspires to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading along with playing cricket. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, vegetables, and chapatti.
Aish comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday and pray together daily. Aish needs your help and support to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
