Abhishek Kamal lives with his parents and one sister in a brick and concrete house in a town in Central India. The town is located in the plains where the climate is hot and dry. This area also experiences drought seasons. The family uses propane as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is in close proximity to their home.
Abhishek helps with gardening, fetching water, and household chores. His father is a village preacher and his mother is a homemaker. Abhishek wants to become an engineer one day. He enjoys singing, reading, and running. His favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken, and mutton.
Abhishek comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily, attend a Bible study, and pray together daily. Abhishek accompanies his father when he preaches in villages on weekends. Abhishek needs your help and support to provide for school fees, a uniform, books, a school bag, and other needs.
