About Abhilasha Khangar
Abhilasha Khangar lives with her parents, one brother and two sisters in a brick and mud house in a town in Central India. The climate in this town is hot and humid. This area also experiences drought seasons. The town is located near a river, in a mountainous jungle area. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is 800 meters from their home.
Abhilasha helps with gardening, fetching water, cooking meals and household chores. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Abhilasha wants to become a doctor one day. She enjoys reading along with playing cricket with her friends. Her favorite foods are dal (lentils), rice, chicken and mutton.
Abhilasha comes from a Christian family. They attend church each Sunday, read the Bible daily and pray together daily. Abhilasha needs your help and support in providing for school fees, uniform, books, school bag and other needs.
