About Anjali Sahu

Anjali lives with her parents, brother, and sister in a small one-room brick and concrete house in a town located by the lake and surrounded by jungles and mountains in Central India. Her father is a low-wage laborer and her mother is a homemaker.

Anjali's hobbies are reading and singing. One day, she hopes to be a nurse and take good care of her patients. Her favorite game to play is cricket with her siblings and friends. She helps her parents by gardening and watching her younger siblings while her parents are busy. Her family has a basic diet of dal (lentils), rice, and chapatti. On special occasions, they will kill a chicken and enjoy chicken curry.

Please pray for Anjali and her family as they are first-generation Christians and face prosecution for their faith. Nevertheless, they faithfully attend church every Sunday and have a daily family Bible reading and prayer time. Our prayer is that the whole town comes to know the Lord. Your sponsorship will provide Kajal with education, school supplies, lunch, uniform, shoes, and basic needs.
