About Jaiprakash Pandey
Jaiprakash is a physically and mentally challenged young man who cannot walk or speak properly. He comes to school on our school bus and has been a regular student at the Oasis of Love School for the last nine years. Studying is not his favorite thing to do, but he is learning how to write. He also is learning how to stitch which will provide him with a skill for the future. He much prefers to play carom or go on picnics. He also enjoys going to the temple every evening after school. Jaiprakash was very happy and grateful to get a new uniform, socks and shoes, and a school bag for Christmas.
