About Durga Ahari

Durga lives with her parents and two brothers in a mud house in a small village in North India. The climate in this village is hot and dry and experiences drought seasons. The village is located near a river. The family uses wood as fuel to cook their meals. The water well the family uses is over 600 meters from their home.

Durga helps with household chores and babysits her brothers. Her father is a laborer while her mother is a homemaker. Durga wants to become a teacher one day. She enjoys dancing and reading along with playing cricket. Her favorite foods are rice and chicken.

Please pray for Durga as she comes from a Hindu family with no believers. Durga needs your help to provide for her school fees, uniform, books, school bag, and other needs.
